Anybody know of a nice place to stay in Gatlinburg that is within walking distance of town or in town? I know there are hundreds of cabins we can rent and most of y'all will recommend that. I'm looking to take the wife up there for a weekend by ourselves and we both like to have a few drinks and check out the night life when we get away, so I don't want to be driving them hills and curves late at night. I ain't been up there in years so I don't have a clue where to start. Any suggestions?

If you are going to drink and drive then you should definitely stay at the iron bar hotel. They serve 3 meals a day and the rates are reasonable. No really, why risk you and your wife's life and the lives of others.

Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

Metalmuncher, a mountain is a mountain, I figure if you've seen one you've seen em all. Now if all the comedians are done I could use some suggestions on a place.....never mind, screw y'all. I'm out.

Twin Islands. It's in the middle of Gatlinburg.

Motel 8 I think it is. It's on the opposite side of the road from Ole Smokey Moonshine and a couple blocks down the road.

We were camping in Sevierville this past weekend and it was so croded we never make it to Gatlinburg. I've lived there and have never seen it as crowded as this past weekend.

No cabins close to town that I know of, but the Edgewater hotel is great for walking in town and is reasonably priced. Not a five star place, but it wasn't bad either. Like I said, the location is perfect.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
