Slept in Saturday because of the rain and headed out about 9:30. Got set up little after 10 and had four birds responding to me across a creek and up the mountain across from the one I'm on. After an hour of calling and moving about a hundred yards calling I had them all at the creek. Sounded like 3 of them met up in the same area, I figure they were all hung up at the creek. I moved further out the mountain to make them think I was moving off and low and behold number 4 who was further down had crossed the creek!! About 10 min of calling and bang flop. Ok spurs but my best beard yet. 19 lb 7 oz 1 in right 3/4 in left 11.5 inch beard 
Set your goals low....and you can always reach them.

This team is full of killers! maybe best deer or turkey team Ive been on so far on Aldeer. I'll be after them hard Saturday and Sunday the weather should be great this weekend

Yea, this weekend looks GREAT! Maybe the hens will be leaving them soon, if so, there are a couple of bruts I have layed eyes on whose days are numbered!

Well I wish I could help out this week, but I got married April 6th and I'm on my honeymoon in punta Cana Dominican Republic. Wouldn't trade this for anything! I'll be back Saturday night an I hope to be in the woods Sunday morning!
