Here are some pics of a deer pelvis with a Mussy stuck through the hip joint. I saw it at a taxidermist/deer processor shop. Thought some of you might find it interesting.

Again, it's all in your set up and KE...I'm pretty sure I could get that much penetration or more out of mine. But then again...the pelvis is not where I would ever intend to shoot a deer. Rage through the cage! laugh

I shoot Muzzy 3 blade 100 gr. I killed an 8 point last week. It was a complete pass through. The buck ran about 75 yards after a 25 yard shot. The Muzzy went all the way through the deer and stuck in the ground about 7 inches. I buddy of mine shot a doe. She jumped the string and he hit her in the hips. The Rage 2 blade went through both hind legs and stuck in the ground as well. She only went about 30 yards and was out in about two minutes. If I were to shoot the Rage I think I would shot the two blade. We talked wtih another friend who had killed a buck with a 3 blade Rage. The hole was not any bigger than a Muzzy. He said he had issues with them wanting to open up. He said they werre bad about opening after he pulled them form his quiver. He stated tht you have to be very careful and keep an eye on the o ring that keeps the blaeds locked in place. He said he uses a small rubber band to help keep them closed. He said he would go to a two blade Rage next time.

The world and all it's beauty is best seen through the eyes of a hunter.

If your gonna shoot one in the ass, better be with a Muzzy.

So weird.

99% of the world wipes their ass with it and the barn calls it tradition. Dustin

Muzzy's are a great broadhead for 30 yd or less but any broadhead will work for 30 or less. I have shot only muzzy's for 20 years,I tested 8 brands is summer shot each one at least 100 times in 3 shot groups from 30 to 60yd,i shot out 2 targets. Results all group good at 30 a few at 40 , I could only get 3 inch groups out of 2 of them at 60yd, Shuttle T-locs and Rage 2 blade, they also droped the least out all of them.
