Finally got an afternoon when I think I can hunt, had a hard time leaving the offfice but managed to get out at 340. Get to land by 355, change clothes grab climber, get to planned tree and discovery lots of vines, fight vines while climbing up, manage to cut enough to get where i wanted to be, and discovered that my bow rope has gotten entangled with vines on the ground. Down I go to up tangle mess. Back up, jacket falls, bback down to get jacket, back up get settled. Finally, now I just need something to come out. At least it beats the office. Hunting the point of a 1 acre greenfield where several trails come up from a bottom and most of the deer stage prior to entering the open. Got a solid 135 - 140 inch 9pt that has called this foodplot home for 4 years. I just hope he didn't hear all the racket I made climbing up.

Last time I had an evening like that I killed right at dark.

Slipped off to our lil lease by the house in Molino fl ( north of Pensacola). Had it for five years and haven't hunted it all that much. But I hunted it a couple days ago and saw 6 mature does and only 3 fawns one hog the big does had twins. So I guess it's time for a lil doe management and reviewing the cams. Sitting in the same plot I saw the does a few days ago

Saw one coming through some thick stuff angling towards me in a hardwood bottom this morning about 8. As I went to stand to get ready another one stepped out from behind a tree and caught me moving. She took off up the hill with the other one. When she got to the top she stopped and gave me a blow job. Set up along a creek in another bottom this evening. I had a buck feed under an oak for 20 minutes just after 5. He was 40 yards away across the creek. I never was able to get a good look at him. I just saw bits and pieces of his body and rack through the tree limbs.
