They're rutting in North Georgia. I have seen 7 different bucks since yesterday afternoon. Had a spike come out of some pines at about 4:00 this afternoon. Hed fed around and then went back into the pines. About 4:30, two does and three yearlings came out of the pines from behind me. They ended up feeding towards where the spike went into the pines. About the time they got down that way, the spike came back out and starting chasing them. He ended up chaing one of the does to within 10 yards of my stand. I was just about to draw on her when I heard footsteps and grunting coming from the bottom t my right. I looked over my shoulder and saw this dude. He couldn't stand the commotion coming from the hill top. He came right up the hill and gave me a 12 yard shot. He went 25 yards and dropped.

I did come through Gadsden, but it was a black Chevrolet. I had to stop by Academy. My wife works there and wanted to see it.
