We went out Sunday afternoon and had a few does come in close but she could not get a shot. Then this 5 pt and two other spikes came all the way up under us. He smelled where we walked in and went to run but stopped at 20 yards. She ended up hitting it a little back and we watched it go about 75 yards before laying down. He got up after about 15 minutes and wlked into some thick pines. I wasnt sure of the shot so we got out of there and I went back and looked again this morning and after about an hour of looking I found some blood and eventually found her buck. She was so down last night about the shot she made, but was very excited when I took her buck to her work this morning to let her see it before heading to the processor.

Take your kids hunting instead of hunting your kids.

I'd rather be LOST in the woods than FOUND in the city.

Drive a hybrid, I need your gas.

Your mind is your primary weapon. Never let it get rusty.
