Had a buddy and his friend double up in Bullock county this morning. Said they heard more birds today than they have all year.

It really is different from property to property. One day they may be gobbling and the next they don't. I don't think it is over, it is just that we should be hunting March 15th -April 30th.

Dang. I haven’t been to my bullock lease in over a week. Last pic I got of a bird was 3/17. Maybe I should go listen tomorrow.

I Might be surprised next time i go, but I’d bet they are still gobbling and doing their thing. They sure didn’t seem to be slowing down last week.

I haven’t been since last Friday, but I heard roughly 300 gobbles between a handful of birds in Russell county. And a buddy of mine heard a good bit of gobbling on bullock county that same day

They have been dead in Coosa County for over a week. We need to go back to opening March 15, even if we have to end the season a week earlier.

I think they need to start deer season in March and turkey in July that way the dominate bucks and gobblers can breed....

Season don’t end till may 8th! This weather has the gobbling down for sure but they still doing it. I know of 4 killed today in Alabama 3 hammered it. One only gobbled 2 times had a pile of hens call the hens and be ready.
