Try this. A NR Bow tag. 700$. A NR Muzzie tag 700$. A NR Rifle tag 700$. I think they have seen the last of me. I hunted MZ there one year and it was really good. ( except for a ton of Hogs ) Yep it's got expensive for sure but I pay stupid non-resident fees to hunt in IL.

Defense plays well at home and their quarterback will run all over you if you do not put a spy on him. They play better than their record so you need to take them serious in practice preparation and no think they will be a pushover. Oh, wait, wrong thread....
I know a long bow hunter in the Stillwater area that I can call if you don't find any info. He may have some contacts. PM me or get my number from Richard if needed. He would not be my first go to for the type of bucks you are probably looking for. Good luck.
Don't give up, don't ever give up!

Got my residency after 1yr. Hunted public and it was awesome. Very little pressure in archery and muzzleloader and lots of deer and good bucks on public. I killed a few real nice ones while I was there. Public up there at that time was nothing like public here.
