They play better than their record so you need to take them serious in practice preparation and no think they will be a pushover. Oh, wait, wrong thread.... Got my residency after 1yr. Hunted public and it was awesome. Very little pressure in archery and muzzleloader and lots of deer and good bucks on public. I killed a few real nice ones while I was there. Public up there at that time was nothing like public here.

Rifle and Muzzie hunters will need 1400$ worth of tags to get 2 Buck's. BUT.. It is likely outfitters will not allow 2 Bucks as part of any hunt. I doubt that many out of stater's will be interested in killing their 4 Does. They have a ton of Deer. Perhaps too many. I would like to go out there again for Muzzie. The Deer will stage up near newly sprouted Wheat fields and start creeping into fields while still light. This was SW not far from the Red River and Texas. I had also looked at going to the Paul's Valley area sometime. Beautiful country I hear.
