Get yourself a couple of shoe/boot insoles, but the ones you need are made by Spenco Rx Orthotic arch supports. The bottom of insoles are a hard rigid formed arch, this is what has worked for me. Dont be in any hurry, because it can take a couple months to heal.

I don’t push the philosophy on folks. I just ask them to do two things in their quest for their truth and resolve. Read a book called born to run and study a medical illustration of how many parts and nerves the foot is made lf.
Same here. I mention it every time I see a plantar fasciitis thread like this one. I avoid all shoe discussions with my running groups. It's funny to hear people complain about certain things with their form or footwear knowing that if they simply changed shoes it would fix it. No one wants to hear that their $300 pair of carbon fiber shoes are awful for them. Here's a great podcast for anyone interested in foot health: https://peterattiamd.com/courtneyconley/“Toe weakness is the single biggest predictor of falls when we age.” —Courtney Conley

Got better shoes and better insoles, stretched, lost weight, did more exercises to strengthen [ANKLE] back-hamstring-leg muscles. Mostly the [first &] latter two.
Ain't no quick fixes. Cortisone just deadens it for a few weeks and the shots hurt like hell.
Just finished P.T. for the same thing, and this was the answer in my case with the [ ] additions above.
