Anyone got a 10’ (or close to it) ceiling fan in their shop they’d recommend? I’m looking to put one large fan in my 30’x46’ shop, with the intent to have that one fan move enough air in the summer that it’s bearable to be out there. What I’m not going to do is buy the “Big Ass” brand that costs $4k for a ceiling fan.
Thoughts?

They got 100"-120" fans on Amazon for $350 -$700. That what I found on a quick peak look.

I do! ...and it's a whole bunch less than Big Ass...like seriously, a WHOLE bunch less! https://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-De...ith-Remote-Included-AM590B-MBK/318931015Moves 15000 CFM on high, has a "natural breeze" mode, where it randomly varies the fan speed if you want, runs on 120v and is very quiet, and retails for $329! When I got mine about a year ago, it was $319, but when we pulled the trigger on ordering it, it was on sale and tax and all out the door was less than $290. LOVE it!!! You're welcome!

Claims Rep, is your shop insulated? We had spray foam installed when we built it...with the fan on and all 4 rollup doors open in a 32 x 48, it was completely comfortable through the summer.

DOA, thanks for the recommendation. I’d looked at that one and was considering it. Given the personal recommendation, I think I’ll give it a try. 👍 Shop is not insulated, cause I don’t plan to spend a whole lot of time out there.

I hope you like it as much as we like ours!

This is just me, the ceiling fan, no matter how good it is, isn't enough for a shop, at least not for me. I'd also get one of the giant rolling fans and position wherever I'm working.

Yep, I'm in your corner. My shop is well insulated and has upstairs storage with a door at the bottom. I have two windows cracked and the door open at the bottom of the stairs in summer. I have vents and windows open upstairs in Summer, it "draws" good. When it's really hot , I work out there and don't open the big garage doors. I found the longer I utilize the cool air in there from the temp drop at night the better.
