I've got to make a run to Tupelo one day next week and will likely be there around lunch time. Anyone got any good lunch spots? Meat and three, good burgers or Q are all acceptable.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

C.H.O.P Clay’s house of pig. Good bbq and best mac and cheese I’ve ever had.

I will 3rd the Neon Pig. The best burger I have ever had. It is legit.

I would recommend The Blue Canoe. 50 beer on tap. I recommend the cheese grits w/greens and pulled pork. It is legit. They get their meat from the Neon Pig (which is actually a meat market).

I would recommend taking an ice chest. I'm no pimento cheese eater, but the Neon Pig has some that my GF says is the best she has ever had.

***Just read through your post. Blue Canoe doesn't open until 3 pm*****

Checking in!

Blue Canoe is great

Amsterdam Deli downtown for a gyro

If you like Thai, Sao is great.

Neon Pig great for burgers.

Loco Taco downtown is good too.

It pains me to say this, but I’d avoid CHOP bbq. After Clay died it hasn’t been the same. Super slow.

Jawbone, PM me if you would like to meet up. Maybe we can make it work!

I would love to meet up but right now I have no precise time to be there and not sure when I will. I'll send you a PM when I get a better idea. I just know that I'm going to town on the other side of Tupelo that starts with a P.

Johnnie’s Drive Inn is the only place I have ever eaten in Tupelo, MS. Good food and reason We ate there is it is near Elvis Presley’s Birthplace .home and museum. Johnnie’s Drive Inn was supposed to be one of Elvis’s favorite places to eat when He would come back to Tupelo.

Blue Canoe and Neon Pig. Can't go wrong with either.

We like Blue Canoe at night and Neon Pig for lunch. I get the Butcher board charcuterie plate with fried pork belly.
