Let me start by saying I personally hav ehad great Customer Service from Leupold, Zeiss, and Swarovski.

But my latest engagement was a used 3-9x36 Habicht with 4A reticle I bought used with a black spec internally on the glass.
Called and got a RMA and documented online all my wishes while they had it and told them I'd be glad to pay for anything out of warranty it needed.

7 weeks later I got this email:

Thank you for reaching out. Services have been completed and your scope will be shipping very shortly.
Our goal is to return your scope as close to new as we can. Your concerns should be addressed.
Please be on the lookout for your tracking information to come!

Here are the notes from our team:

Performed an internal cleaning, centered the reticle and replaced the main tube and both RS lenses. Please note the following was also checked during this repair: Range of Adjustment, Parallax, Shock Test, Resolution, Focus Uniformity, Field of View, Cleanliness of Optics. Leak Test - Nitrogen Fill

I can't say enough good about them.

Can't wait to get it mounted on my daughter's 700 Gundoc tricked out this year and try some Barnes down the pipe.

I have sent 2 back to Swarovski and one to Zeiss.

All 3 were 20+ years old, all were sent back to me in perfect working order. Similar experience to Treelimb on all communications.

Yep, I dropped my 10x42s out of a treestand and had to get a repair done, They offered a loaner pair just in case it took a while to get them back. Awesome CS !!!

I should also add that all three were bought used. They didn't even ask if I was the original owner, just fixed them at no charge.

Certainly changed the way I look at buying a used scope!

I forgot to put that in my OP UncleHuck.
Both scopes and binos were bought used.

I called Swaro on my 3-12 and they checked the s/n and verified it had been serviced recently!

They are the best! I found a pair of their compact binos for sale that were a little rough cosmetically and missing one of the adjustable eye cups. $800 binos and the guy wanted $100 , so I took a chance. Called Swaro to buy an eye cup and the rep said they were not real busy(off hunting season) and suggested I send them in for a check up. I asked if I could buy a soft case they came with if they still had any. Got them back in a few weeks looking like new with a free case. BTW; only compacts I have ever looked through worth owning.

Had same good experience with Steiner . Buddy dropped my binos and broke them . Filled out a form shipped them on their pre paid label and got a new set shipped before the old ones
Made it to them

I just bought a new truck yesterday and was cleaning out my old one. My little tool that Swarovski provided when I bought my X5i was missing out of my center console. I looked all over creation for that thing yesterday and couldn't find it. Called them up and told them I wanted to purchase another one and they said not to worry about it that they would just send me a new one and they would drop it in the mail today. Can't beat that.
