Biden will pay him to let them through. Do the Chinese still run the Panama Canal? If so, they will also persuade him to not stop it.

I thought most of the migrants were coming from Countries that are located North of the Panama Canal anyways?

If he closes Darien Gap and the port entries, the invaders will be slowed by half.

With the Darien gap, the Canal, and the country being the narrowest point between south and North America, Panama is a textbook example geographical choke point. If what he says is true, this is a huge step towards securing the border.

If he can stay alive and enforce the policy, he will create a literal wedge and force the illegals to take boats around Panamanian waters and make the trip 1.) More expensive and cost prohibitive 2.) introduce more risk to the smugglers who have to convince someone to drive a boat full of non-swimmers into the Pacific Ocean or the Caribbean Sea.

Jimmy Carter can't really be blamed for losing the Panama Canal. It was in the original agreement that they would get it after 100 years. Like when the UK gave up Hong Kong, it was part of the original agreement even though a lot of people didnt like having to do it. I think Teddy Roosevelt made the original deal with Panama, we build it and get the money from it for 100 years then Panama gets it. Most folks don't know it but we still have what is basically like a car title to the canal. We tricked Panama into a title loan and they will never really be free from us anyway so its not much of a change if you think about it.

This. Shawn Ryan had a great podcast about this very subject a couple weeks ago.

Why not just pay Panama to do just that. Then pay the Mexican cartels $1 billion/yr to shut down the border.

Doing that would save our country BILLIONS. It cost, on average, ~$13,000 per year just for public education alone per illegal kid.

Saw something recently that the president of Mexico wanted 20 billion a year to close the border? And how much have we sent Ukraine, Hamas etc etc. they don’t want the border closed. The uniparty that is.

I think you are seeing the governments in Central and South America finally getting damn tired of the globalist bullsh1t messing with their lives. The new President in Panama is in a real difficult spot. He wants to do what is best for his country but every country on Earth has something to say to him about how the canal operates. No canal and Panama is just another 3rd world stump-hole.

What he really means is he he going to stop immigration unless he gets a big wad of cash
