I'll have to try that. I usually use Creole Bitters outa NOLA for those. Recently been drinking Boulevardiers instead of Old Fashioneds lately.

. Youtube it. Plenty out there. You can get a variety kit with different woods. Hickory, cherry, pecan, etc.

Y’all had me talked into trying this. Bought a mixer bottle at Winn Dixie to start with. Added some 4 Roses and and orange slice. It’s some count. The fruit at the end is awesome. I imagine having one from someone that knows how to really make one is probably out of this world

I like them this way:
Muddle a little bit of sugar in a teaspoon of hot tap water in the bottom of a short glass. Take a little sliver of orange peel and toast it with a match. Rub it around the rim of the glass and throw it in there. Add ice. Fill with Wild Turkey 101 Add a few dashes of Angostura Bitters. Stir Enjoy I make mine this way but I use Agave sweetner instead of sugar and Jim Beam...my favorite drink

I've got a smoking kit to make them. Just never do. We played with it a little bit when I got it. But it wasn't significantly better than on the rocks like I usually drink. Just not worth the time to make it unless someone is over and want to try it.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
