I'm thinking hard about buying one that's 35hp and I think all of them are 4wd with a loader. Do any members own one and have a testimonial they can give? I want the good, bad and ugly scoop on these before I pull the trigger.

To GOD be All the glory!!!

If youll paint it green as soon as you get it, folks on here will love it. I know a couple people with bransons and one with a tym. Theyre all satisfied, dont have any detailed reviews though

Never owned one, but have some friends who have. Parts availability would be my primary concern.

Watch tractor time with Tim on you tube. He has a few episodes about the small tractor manufacturers and who’s still in business and who’s not. They even have some side by side comparisons and footage at tractor shows.

It be's that way sometimes.

Deere dealers are all mega dealers now and I wouldn't buy a new green tractor is my life depended on it I can't get them to do much. 3 Dealerships within driving distance of me.. ALL 3 = Worthless as tits on a boar hog I don't know how they stay in business.

I would take a Branson just so didn't have to deal with Deere. Their dealer network consists of a bunch of incompetent morons from what I can tell. And expensive plastic parts is their new thing.

I had a mahindra 2545 that was a rebadged TYM and it was in the shop more than at my house. I traded it as soon as I got a chance and lost a good bit. That may have just been a fluke but that is my experience.

We have owned 4 pieces of Kubota equipment, and none ever gave us any trouble.

Unless I was going to start row crop farming, it would be hard for me to buy anything that wasn't orange.

I bought a Branson in Sept. of 2022. That was when they were still branded Branson but TYM had already bought them. They actually kept the name Branson for a couple of years and just changed over the name in January of 2023 I believe. Mine is just a 24hp and partly because of that I went with a geared transmission instead of the hydrostatic. The little Cummins seems to put every bit of the 24hp to the ground, and the pto seems much stronger than a hydro. of similar size. The FEL is pretty strong, as is the rear lift and PTO. I haven't looked at the hour meter lately but I'm thinking around 100 hours so far with zero issues. It may break in half or lock up tomorrow, but today it's going strong. There are a few minor things that I don't care for but for the price difference between it and Orange or Green, I can overlook them pretty easy. Fuel has to be added painfully slow or you could take the screen out. The ignition switch will rust if left uncovered. Just little things like that. I had no problem getting my first service booked and completed (dealer must perform the first one) so maybe if or rather when, it breaks down, repairs will be quickly done also.

This one has all steel body parts (grill is plastic) but I'm thinking the newer TYM ones have a plastic hood and maybe a different engine also. I'm unsure of what other changes were made.

There is a Branson owners forum or page or whatever it's called that you could look into for more info if you do farcebook. I don't, but my wife has looked a few times.

If it’s not a Deere or a Kubota, I’d keep looking until I found one sir. Robinhedd

Made a good living running Deere products. Currently have 3 sitting in the barn and all three were cranked and used during the big freeze we had 2 weeks ago. My neighbor across the field in Ford City has a Branson and it sat for 3 months this year waiting on a water pump. Parts are hard to find, or at least they were this summer. He also had two of the large bolts that mount the loader arms to the frame to break off. It was less than 2 years old when this happened and it had less than 100 hours on it. He wound up having to remove the broken bolts himself and redid them all while he was down.

I just looked at a John Deere with almost 5,000 hours on it. It was one fine tractor and a good price on it. I just need one a little smaller. I live 2 miles from a Deere dealership and only walk in to buy net wrap, oil, and filters. We did have to rebuild the clutch on a 90 HP Deere several years ago. We did not use the dealership. This was the only issue we have had. Our newest tractor is about 10 years old now. We have had good service out of them and they work for us when we need them. We have stopped up a few fuel filters over the years, but that is our fault. Just unscrew them and shake the trash out-reprime and crank.

I can't stand a thief.

I have 4 Deere Tractors all over 100hp. I'm pretty well versed in dealing with 3 of their Stealerships that supposedly support mainly AG equipment based on their location. As long as you have a compact tractor you are ok. Call them to help you work on a real issue that you can't drag up on a trailer with come along and take to them... that's when you are completely SOL. I'm talking about something broke for real you gotta go somewhere else. Why would you buy something like that? I know why I did and that's because I can and have to fix it myself AND most importantly It was cheap. This is why it was cheap. You can't get it fixed up there at the "dealer" without winning an ass grabbing contest with them. Get them to come fix something in the field the answer is pretty much "maybe" unless it is under warranty or the parts are super expensive. Then they'll show up. Otherwise you are on your own. They will tell you their crane on the service truck is broke. You ask when it will be fix and the answer = I don't know maybe in a few weeks call back. 3-6 months later same story. I have had several issues I could get zero support on and had to call their corporate office to get some help. Do I sound pissed and rambling. Yea I am.

I should have just got a bunch of old ass Internationals that are built better.
