The picture depicts a coil with a DIN connector. Should be held on by the red cap.
Under the cap will be a cartridge valve screwed into the valve block.
You won't get anywhere without identifying the manufacturer and part number.

The wiring looks hokey going to the coil, I would check that first.

You can take a small screwdriver, nail or something similar and lightly hold it near the coil while you simultaneously active the controls.
It the coil and circuit is working, it should draw the metal piece to it.

Don't confuse my user name with any sort of alphabet faggotry.

It only stands for drag racing, and Route 66 was my home track back in the day.

There should be a name on the black plastic of the solenoid.

You can probably find one at a industrial electrical supply store.

That's a damn good answer. That's how I check solenoid coils

Yes . All logging equipment has one for every button nowadays .some equipment has up to 15 .we call it electric over hydraulic. All the circuit does is magnetizes the solenoid . First thing we check when something don’t work . Most time it’s just blown fuse. Never heard off solenoid jjst quit when it’s getting fire . Check fuse then see if wired is hot . Sometimes for us the nut is just loose that holds it on but all ours lot bigger an made out of metal with a metal nut .
I would check trailer manufacturer first .
