The Navy's noise detector has not been a secret for a very long time. It was used on the Russian nuke sub, the Kursk if I remember correctly. It has also been used for things like the big Japanese Tsunami, and the big Indian Ocean Tsunami from many years back. Its also been used for a lot of reasons over the years. The Gulf oil rig explosion was another thing it was used for, and even hurricane research cause a big storm actually creates a lot of under sea noise. They got the sound of the buoy that Hurricane Ivan snapped when it made a rouge wave that lifted it over 100ft high. I think they announced its existence sometime in the early 1980's to let the Russians know that we know where their subs are at all times. That's right , saw a feller yesterday said it had been in operation for decades . It's a huge network of devices on the ocean floor all over the world as I understand . He told exactly what to Google to find out all about it. It's been hiding in plain sight so to speak. He also said Ruskies have something similar .

Yup knew a guy that was in one of our nuclear subs. Said being quiet was important and we played cat and mouse games with the Ruskies all the time.

He also said Ruskies have something similar . most of the mines now a days are acoustic triggered. They sit on the ocean floor and can relay info back to hub. Some even use a type of sonar. When activated, they can be set to detonate according to specific acoustic signatures. Our ships could traverse freely through a mined area. The first of these were german, used in the 40's, I'm sure they've came a long way since then.

This Ocean Gate Conspiracy is a lot larger than Water Gate. So I guess I am not the only one who wondered if something actually blew the sub up? I wouldn't have dared get on it, but I wouldn't get on any of them, but that is just me. It does seem really dumb to me to go forward with it if there were still concerns about the integrity of the vessel and the lack of controlling it from inside. Apparently there have been others who have been on dives to it, so why not listen to those who were more knowledgeable? The whole thing doesn't make good sense to me.

I don't think there's any conspiracy and I don't think anyone "blew it up". I think this was just a case of a company/CEO trying to cut corners for the sake of profit and it finally caught up with him. He didn't deny it, in fact he often bragged about cutting corners. Several people have raised alarms about him and his sub previously, including a high level executive who was fired for it.
Long story short........this guy basically redneck-engineered a submarine to take down to see the Titanic, and the inevitable happened.

about where I am on it. I do think coming out with the navy info after the fact was possibly used to take eyes off the left hand.

I disagree. I would think the sub began making poping sounds the deeper they got. Maybe even a leak then bam it caves in. I'm sure they died instantly but I bet they heard something before it gave in. Like someone gripping an empty coke can too tightly before they crush it. The passengers obviously were not too mechanically inclined or they would have never gotten inside it. Anyone with half a brain would know not to do that. It doesn't make sense to me. Josh Gates took a ride on it. He said he wouldn't do it again either because of all the issues that thing had going on with it.

I saw where the Titan was 5" thick super composite material and other deep diving mini subs are 7" thick.

You watch the Hodge Twins? They’re great. I was gonna go see them in Columbus but cancel culture guide them. Back to the thing that was pointed out. It was a light bar. Oh yeah size does matter if it’s only a 1/2” to some.

Negative. I figured you’d fit right in with them. They don’t discriminate and they can get away with the N-Word. I’ve been watching them for years and turned them on to plenty of black folks. Gotcha😂👍
