What in the hell is wrong with these companies? I can't believe I'm going to say this - but what happened to the just put a subtle gay couple in your ads or some crap, who in their marketing says, "no, that's not enough, we need a full on fruitcake flamboyant tranny with a mustache to really drive the point home.". In the words of a friend of mine who's within a company that is very much woke, large companies like North Face are scared to death of being "cancelled"... and so they're going this route even when they don't want to. The pressure from the other side is so great and so threatening that they don't believe they can survive without doing it. So, it is better to be canceled financially than to be canceled socially? WTH?! Out of business is still out of business! How long is it going to take for big biz to learn that they do so much better when they just stick to the middle of the road? Apolitical is best financially. By straight out going to the extreme on either side of the aisle you are alienating half the customer base - make it make sense! There are some exceptions to that with small businesses, especially in the south that can be openly conservative and still do very well.

All about that new ESG score that the investment funds like Blackrock and others, as well as the new Biden appointed head of the SEC are pushing. The below is a copy and paste.
The SEC launched the Climate and ESG Task Force within the Division of Enforcement to develop initiatives to proactively identify ESG-related misconduct consistent with increased investor reliance on climate and ESG-related disclosure and investment. The Task Force is led by Sanjay Wadhwa, Deputy Director of the Division of Enforcement.
The Climate and ESG Task Force is coordinating the effective use of Division resources, including through the use of sophisticated data analysis to mine and assess information across registrants, to identify potential violations including material gaps or misstatements in issuers’ disclosure of climate risks under existing rules, and disclosure and compliance issues relating to investment advisers’ and funds’ ESG strategies. Not from 1% of the population... they're threatened by all the left leaning people in our country trying to cancel them on social media, tv, etc. They would rather die because of lost support from people like us than face a public, humiliating death that involves slander and assault on a name they've built.

How are they THAT out of touch? Globe, the problem is they are not out of touch with the ppl they’ve surrounded themselves with. They think we are the weirdos and not enough of the population to make a difference. When you get out of their bubble we are still the majority, but they’re never exposed to anything outside their bubble.

A group of high school kids came out a competitor against north face a few years back and called there stuff South Butt. They started pulling market shares like you would not believe. I know several individuals that bought a few boxes to sale at flea market. Quality was good Clean but even Recognition. South butt buyers were pulling the dinero out of the hands. These young men made the old guard because south Butt Was kicking it . Then Northface sued south butt. They settled by it was not mad public except South Butt got screwed and had to turn over everything pluse pay fines.
