Was at the boat show today and there was a booth of Bajio sunglasses. I’ve had costas forever, and have been needing to send in my costas to get new lenses due to scratches, but decided to take a look at some new ones. I put on a pair and walked outside, walked back in, and bought them. They blow costas out of the water. Plus, they’re owned by the original costa guys. Same warranty and customer service. Guy at the booth said if they need fixing, they guarantee they’re back in your hands within 3 days.

Costa , Oakley, and Ray-ban are all owned by the same company and the quality is not what it once was but nether are their prices. If I wanted a serious pair for fishing I'd go with Maui Jim but I've heard good things about the Bajiio's, too.

I have a pair of Maui Jim’s and pair of Oakley’s. I prefer the Maui Jim’s. Clarity of Maui Jim lenses are top notch and the frames are extremely durable.

I have had probably 6 pairs of Costas in the past 15 years and the quality get worse and worse, I bought a pair of Bajio last summer by far the best glasses I have ever had. I bay fish and if your buddy doesn’t have a pair you will be explaining what you are seeing to him all day the anti glare is unbelievable and the clarity.

I swapped from Costs to Bajio a few years ago and I’ve been very pleased.

I dropped mine and they landed on the knees and it shattered. They sent me a new pair for free. That’s what I call customer service.

I’m on my last pair of costas. Quality has taken a nose dive for sure over the past several years.

Looked at those bajio sunglasses online and the prices are up there. I love my Maui Jim sunglasses too much to change for those Bajio prices. I've have/had Oakley's, the M frames are still my all time favorites, and Costas, but Maui sunglasses are the best for clarity.

I’ve had the same pair of Costas for 6+ years. I spent $220 out the door for the Bajios. For something I wear every day and will last for years, they’re worth every dollar.

My costas broke a couple weeks ago, and I replaced them with a pair of Bajio NATO’s. Love the fit so far haven’t had them on the water yet, so we shall see. They make them about 30 miles from my house

Got a free pair of Bajio’s through a little promotion with a local sunglasses shop, now I have two pairs of them and haven’t worn a pair of costas since

Depends on how much wrap around you want. They have styles like most costas. I wore fantails from costa and got Piedras from Bajio.

Checked them out and gotta admit I'm not crazy about the styling and colored lenses. I prefer a black wraparound with gray lenses.

Did you click on any of them? They have several wraparound models and the frames and lenses are available in multiple colors.

I’ve given up on Costa’s bs warranty work. Years ago I loved them. I tried and LOVE Maui Jim’s.
Sounds like I need to go check these out also.

I'll play along. What kind of car do you drive? If it's anything more than the most basic of basics who are you trying to impress?

There’s a lot of things I’d consider overpriced and not worth it. To me some things are worth spending a little money on and sunglasses is one of those things for me. Has nothing to do with trying to look cool either. I’m too old for that. I just like having a good pair of quality glasses to wear when I’m driving, fishing or hanging out on the beach.

Picked up a pair of Bajio today. Woods and water is having a clearance on them for $99/glass. $79/plastics.
