Looking for one to listen to in my truck while I practice going down the road. It's my second year to practice with a mouth call and I still don't think I've got it down. At least not good enough to try it in the field yet. I'll stick with pot calls for now but really want to learn to use a mouth call.

Any ideas on a good one to listen to? Or even a download I play on my iphone?

In my opinion, cadence is more important that how great you sound. Also, try several different mouth calls. I find the ones with clear latex are the easiest to use

Like trkyman said cadence is more important than what it sounds like. I used to have THIS cd , but I loaned it out to someone and never got it back.

Which one would that be Yekrut? There are about a dozen on that page.

And thanks for tip about cadence. I need to learn that too.

Or you could just get on youtube and watch the NWTF calling contests. Your not going to hear anybody call better than them.

Tree top turkeys! Doesn't matter which volume. They all have good sound and lots of good info on them!

Not sure of the exact name but I got one from Primos that came with 3 "learning" mouth calls. It helped out a ton. Being around people that know how to call has help probably more than the cd IMO.

I had one that was called spitting feathers, dont remember who made it.

Lots of turkey sounds on it.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Except, of course, turkeys. I can hardly stand to listen to "professional" callers. Try these - actually recorded in the woods. Lovett is a biologist that spent his career studying turkeys. Look at his "recordings" in the products section:
