Yes I mix it with corn and let her rip. I have had some of the 200# capacity models for about 5 years which, when full, each lasts about 1 month. My favorite thing to feed out of it is Triple Grip Feed or corn mixed with pudding mix or rice bran. If the squirrels and coons get to it they will try to nibble holes in the feeder cone right above the gravity 3-way feeder extension. Make SURE you put some corrugated pipe tape and tacks in that area to keep them off. If you do, they will last a long time. Great results for me.
