Also, I have several of these already and people ask me the main difference between the 3000 and the 2500 so I'll go ahead and answer that here. They are both the same size and weight, but the 3000 has a little more line capacity and it has Shimano's cross carbon drag system, where the 2500 only has felt drag washers. The cross carbon drag washers are much smoother, has a wider range of settings, starts up easier, etc.
