Last year, I had a buck on camera early fall that managed to only give me a couple of less than stellar pictures before going MIA. I had a camera in the same area this year that I finally got around to checking 2 weeks ago. I thought it looked similar to the buck from last year, but like last year, he had a knack for avoiding good clear photos. I decided to run up to the camp after church yesterday to see how bad the road had washed out, top off the feeders and hopefully squeeze a quick sit in. Got in the stand about 3:30. By 4:00 I had a nice little 3yr old 8pt and a couple of does come by. Then, at 4:20, I had another 3yr old 8 and a doe come through. I passed on both of those bucks hoping my daughters or wife might get a shot at them later. At 4:45, a "no questions" shooter stepped out in my lane. I didn't get to look him over as the window was short, but I knew I didn't need to. Tucked the crosshairs behind the shoulder and let it eat. When I got to him, I recognized him from this year's pictures and also remembered him from last year. He's a basic 8, 16" inside, and good mass that carries all the way to the tip. Here he is! ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/ZqFGVLbp/IMG-1352.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/4dfrMhyM/IMG-1359.jpg)
