![[Linked Image]](http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/i401/longspur69/fb_kelbey_deer1.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/i401/longspur69/fb_kelbey_deer2.jpg) Don't have great pics of the deer. Don't need them. Her smile is bigger than the deer, , , and that's how it should be. This is my oldest daughter's first buck. I was blessed to have the opportunity to share this with her. She's 19 and this was the first time I can remember her being the one to suggest going hunting. She shot it at 11:00 and the poor guy looked like he was about to die anyway. His mouth was gaping open, tongue hanging out. He looked up at us at about 30 yards, shrugged us off, and continued walking as if he was in a trance. She said, "Daddy, this gun is going to kick the crap out of me, ain't it?". She hit heart and both lungs at about 20 yards. Got to see him crash after about 75 yards. She found and followed the blood trail straight to him. I wouldn't trade any of it for a hundred 150 class deer.

That is what it's all about! Congrats!

Wish mine hunted, I just hope I can get the grand daughter interested soon!! She owns more land than I can pay taxes on and she is only 4 months old! I hope she decides to take PaPa with her when she goes! Congrats on the harvest.
