Ran 3-4 out as I parked and started to walk in and had a deer cross the field before shooting light . Tail out and head down , pretty sure a buck . Phone says 31 in Atmore ; big frost this morning. It ought to be happening! Disgusted I couldn’t see that deer better . Barely saw it with my binoculars and never but movement in my scope . Maybe him or it’s big brother will come back .

Doing a quick before work and will do another quick after work. I think midday 10-2 is best bet this weekend. It was abnormally still this a.m. “Killing tomorrow’s trophies today.” On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”
