Looks like the states incompetence shines through again. System crashes when it comes time to see who was selected. Probably intentional so they can go through and hand pick their buddies.

I have not and will not ever apply for any SOA hunt. I believe land bought by hunters should be open to hunters.

I think I saw earlier they opened up registration and will pick on 21. That what they posted on Facebook ealier Did you see this or just hear it on here. I don’t see that posted anywhere. Everything I read said the draw stands and whoever was picked the first time just had till the 20th to accept

Sorry guys I read it wrong thanks Jono23 for correcting me. I was able to log on last night but gave me same error as baybuzzard and BammerNation37 No worries, I just saw other people posting that too and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Well looks like between the state and hurricane Sally I got screwed this year on the selection process. I applied for a total of 13 hunts on September 12th. When I tried to log on September 14th I got the error code that my birthdate didn't match my conservation ID number, which is BS. Hurricane Sally dropped a tree on the house, and 3 trees across our power lines. I still don't have internet service or email so I am posting this on my sister's computer. When my nephew logged on to see if he was drawn, I had him look up my results. According to my hunt registrations, it appears that I didn't apply at all, which again, is BS because I saved a text file of the hunts I applied for. Perhaps since I applied fairly late my entries were lost in the glitch. Like I said, I got screwed this year, but I can't complain too much as year before last I was drawn for a squirrel hunt at Cedar Creek, and last year a bow hunt at Stimpson and a squirrel hunt at Portland Landing. I don't get on here much anymore, but if anyone wants any info on units 7 & 8 at Cedar Creek, unit 2 at Stimpson, and units 7 & 8 at Portland Landing, message me and I'll try to get back on here to reply.

Dumbest question ever but what does SOA stand for? Special Opportunity Areas It's public land paid for by hunters but limited each year to just a few hunters selected by random draws.
