I've heard deer blow while in the stand a bunch of times. Some times at me, some times at yotes, and one time at a bobcat. The one that I saw blowing at a bobcat was in the mid 90's when I lived in Troy. I had never before, nor ever since seen a deer act that upset or get "into" blowing so much. Her feet were coming off the ground she was blowing so hard. I figured that must mean that bobcats are big time deer predators.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Yep Fur, Cats drive them nuts. Several years ago, I had a wad of does over my left shoulder , up the hill and up wind from me start blowing and going wild. They couldn't see or smell me , I was puzzled. They were looking down the hill past me . In a few seconds 2 big bobcats came slipping around a old road bed waaaay down the hill . I couldn't believe those deer knew they were there way before I saw or heard them , cats don't make much noise , ever. And no way they smelled them . The cats turn straight up the hill , when they turned off the road , the deer left like quail taking flight.

Most people don't realize that bobcats are more of a deer predator than coyotes. Coyotes take advantage of easy meals, like a dead carcass. Bobcats are true hunters and killers. Pretty amazing little creatures, they can move like lightning.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.
