I've been here. It was excellent. https://oakcreekwhitetailranch.comIf you book one of the early "management hunts," you are just about guaranteed to to get a 160+. Lodge is great. No guide on mgt hunts unless they have changed something.

OH and I forgot the worst place ive ever been is Heartland lodge in Illinois, your just a number, got you sitting in lockons with the climbing steps about 2 ft below the lockon I hunted at Heartland in 1999 and again in 2002. They put us on deer, and I killed two while there in 1999. One was a nice mature buck and the other a big fat doe. They were only my 3rd and 4th deer with a bow. We had a great experience. Second trip was post rut and activity was very slow. Still had a good time. I don’t know how it is now but our guides were top notch then. I wouldn’t go back just because I no longer do Outfitters. Has nothing to do with them.

Brushy Fork Outfitters in Ohio. You will not be disappointed and could easily get on 180-200” That's not where you tossed the chair is it? 🤭
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

for a 150 I'd go to Texas For a million I wouldn't go to Texas. Man I LOVE Texas. I lived there when I was young and have gone back a lot. Hunting turkeys, deer and archery hogs! Its a great state! A real lot of land with very few people...drive at 80 MPH. Some fine arse females for sure....not wearing much clothes as its way hotter then here. Great beaches....with wimmens wearing even less! Deer, hogs, turkeys, mulies, cougars....( both varieties I might add...) What you talking bout Willis?

I've been forced into Texas for various reasons over the years and ain't found a damn thing I'd ever go back for. Chief among the reasons, most of Texas is hotter than hell. From east Texas (which looks more like Kuwait) to west Texas (which looks more like Iraq) there ain't one damn thing to make Texas attractive.

In Texas- you can just about bank it if you want to pay the freight. In KS, and for less money , you have a pretty good chance at a 150 as anywhere . And you can go in December, get all that done and come back to 'Bama and kill that 120" deer on your camera if you see him, he hasn't been killed by neighbors or a car, wounded 2 properties over and never found,.... you get it.

What you talking bout Willis? #1 reason not go to Texas: As the famous troubadour puts it “all my exes live in Texas, therefore I reside in...” There’s some crazy heifers in those pastures. High and low fenced.
