Nobody suggested just leave it alone and get one of those hypodermic style suction oil change things. We use them on 4 stroke outboards and they work fine. Actually, it was suggested above.

Find a socket just too small. Tap it on with a hammer. 12 point sockets work best. Or big vice grips Tapping a slightly smaller 12 point socket on it should work. I used that trick to remove smooth wheel lock lug nuts from my truck when I lost the key for them. It worked great and showed just how fast a thief could have got them off.  Funny you mention this. Just did the same thing on my sons xterra today. He lost the key and had to change the shocks.
