Ran into a friend a while back ,and we got to talking about tree stands we are hunting out of. I told him I have been using the Summit Goliath. He said he had use them until he went a tried the Cougar Claw Tree Stands and fell in love with them. He said he sold both of his Summit stands and went replaced them with the Cougar Claw stands. Wonder if any of you currently use this brand of stand or have in the past ,and what your opinions of these stands are.

Didn’t know they still made them. Friend of mine has one. Just a knock off of a summit.

I have one, it's nice, but i wouldn't go as far as getting rid of my Summits. Only issue i had with mine was the foot straps were mounted too close to the tree for my liking (couldn't climb worth a crap) so i moved them back one

I have used them. They are light and I think they are superior to summits, but I'm a treewalker owner.

I have one and most of my friends hunt out of them as well. Very light weight and comfortable with plenty of room. I'll definitely be buying another one.

I hunted out of one for years. Still have it, pulled it down from the garage the other day, and decided I needed to get it out of the way and gone. Super light (aluminum), open front version is what mine is (bow stand basically). I will sell it for dirt cheap if anybody is interested.

I just drove by this place today actually. Heard of them but never knew they were made around here. I absolutely despise Foley traffic by the way.

Here's what i had to do to mine. I moved the straps down one rail because in was a pain in the rear for me to climb with, I've had to do it with Ol Mans before. My feet were so close to the tree that I couldn't get much leverage (I wear a 14) moving them made the climbing a much more enjoyable experience lol. Never had an issue with my Summits though, i can climb like a monkey in one of those...
