I use corn, strawberry syrup, Fruit Punch Kool-Aid mix in a 5 gallon bucket has a very sweet strong aroma seems to work pretty good.

Corn soaked in diesel fuel. Won't nothing touch it but hogs. And hogs love it.

I have a feeder that I have on our property. I use the following mix when I fill the feeder (roughly 250-300 lbs).

I get my feed supplies at tractor supply.

50 lbs cracked corn well mixed throughout

200 lbs whole corn

25 lbs producers pride general purpose mineral mix.

When I need to get hogs in on the weekend I ferment half a 5 gallon bucket of whole corn with bit of cracked corn, fruity jello or koolaid, 24 ounces cheap beer, water, 3 tablespoons yeast. let that ferment for 3 to 5 days and pour that out in a diagonal line to my line of sight. This is better than just dumping in a pile as it basically lines the pigs up in a row for shot selection.

Another bait you can use is koolaid/jello and corn, fruity soda and corn, brown sugar and corn. The bottles of pig attractant on the shelf at cabelas are basically aromatic fruit flavorings and syrup and water with preservatives in them.

Elusive wildlife has a product called Pig Oil that I have had good success with as well.

Corn. I'll put some cmere deer corn coat to start a bait pile. But once they find it, Just straight corn, I'll usually kick the dirt around to put a little scent in the air. Burnt motor oil poured on the side of a tree works good too. They'll eat damn near anything if you can get it cheap, like sometimes i can get some old peanuts cheap. But corn is usually the cheapest.

I wouldnt wast all that time getting bait ready, once they find it. I've poured out 4 bags of corn in 3 sites a few hundered yards apart that were established bait sights . From 5 o clock friday evening till we showed back up sat at 6am and they're wouldnt be a kernel left.

Takes a bit more to get the hogs on bait in my area, they are not as prolific up north here as they are down south.

At work we sell a bunch of pastries of various sorts. Over the years I trapped a bunch of hogs using out of date doughnuts, honey buns, cheese danishes, etc. In fact, at one time the only way I was catch boar hogs was with these. I could catch sows and piglets on corn but never big boars unless I was using pastries.

If I have hogs moving during daylight hours I'll soak a 5 gal bucket full of corn with strawberry soda for a week. take it to place I;m going to hunt and dig a hole about 2' deep then pour the mix in. The first time I did this I didn't make it 50 yds from the bait and had a hog eating...no joke

Sour corn with diesel fuel works well.

Burnt motor oil in mash soured with whatever fruit soda you have. Put it in a sealed metal 5gal can with holes in it, on a chain, and stake it out....or put in a hole with a metal grate staked over it......either lasts way longer., and they’ll spend some time there trying to get it.
