How many of you have mixed yalls food plot seed whatever you may plant this year and fertilizer together when planting. I started to do it but thought it might be a bad idea.

As long as the seed isn't damp and the fertilizer isn't damp, no problem.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

that's the way we've always done it. Just don't leave them in the hopper for an extended period of time.

Why take a chance. It won't all fit into the hopper at one time anyway.

We could've put up to 500#s in our 3pt hitch Hopper, but we did it separately. One day the fertilizer and disked in, then the seed the next day with a drag after.

We mix it together. Use it the same day we mix it. It will all fit if you are using a spreader wagon so you only have to make one pass.

If I am using a hopper on the 3-pt, I spread them separately.
