What would you do?” thread).Didnt anticipate getting back to him til Monday but got back to his hardwood scope at 2 this afternoon. Woods were wet and quiet. As I got to the middle of the scope of woods there was scratchin since the rain, I took a seat facing back the way I came and used a gobble tube that sounded awful...just like a jake! Few minutes a few soft yelps and a few louder yelps from a jet slate made by a friend. Less that 10 minutes I heard a “vrooom” and saw Curtis walking softy , half strut, out of a fairly thick area. As he passed behind some brush I cocked the Stevens 20 and got it aimed at an opening as he stepped into it at 25 steps. My first TSS cut him down clean, he never kicked or flopped, not a single BB in his breasts. From a nobody to making a name for himself, the way we all want to go....AC 870 will post pics for me.
