Yesterday I had a damn Guinea wasp land on my leg and start walking around. I went 17 different directions all at the same time getting that bastage off me.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

What you're having is very possible from a wasp sting. It's just a delayed reaction. Take some Benadryl, if it gets worse, or gets/stays red for more than a day go to the doctor.
I've had the same type reaction a few thousand stings ago.
I'M NOT A DOCTOR and my experience may be different than yours. It would not hurt to go see a doc. If you feel any tightness in your chest or throat, GO TO A DOC ASAP.

Very well could be an insect bite or sting that sounds like it may have turned to cellulitis That would be my guess too. Need to let your Doctor eyeball it. You probably need antibiotics. Cellulitis infections can turn nasty on you.
