Well all, after almost two years of watching what I eat and how much I eat I have lost 45lbs from around my waist and have gone from almost a 40in waist to a comfortable 34in. and back into Large shirts.. glad I saved some of those shirts from high school LOL!!!!!! (That was 27 years ago) I feel 90% better than I used to and the only exercise I have been doing is running on a treadmill for 40 mins or so every few day. nothing religeous. I now have to maintain what I have gotten down to.. 176 from 222 and keep it off until I finish school (Jan 29, 2012) and then I will start getting into a workout routine.. I do some situps and pushups now, but here and there.. nothing serious.. but they do seem to be helping getting my stomach a little flatter HAHA BRONCO!! (Had to do that.. ) All you that are on the ALDEER CHALLENGE, you can do it with a mindset of pushing the plate back, not pulling it to you.. G/L!

Way to go man! I found that easing up on those Bud Lights can help. I may have one beer every couple of nights but haven't had but one in past 2 weeks. Lost 5 lbs and an inch on the waist.

I did the same long term plan. I worked out pretty hard because I didn't want to give up the beer and pasta. But I went from 216 to 174 over 18 months. I just gradually went down on my portions and cut out 99% of the fast food I was eating. There are a lot of plateaus you have to deal with mentally, but after a while it starts working in your favor. I actually spent 10 days at the beach eating and drinking without restriction and came back 1/2 pound lighter. I did run every other day, cut the grass etc.... Long term is the way to go, you have to change your lifestyle.
not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids
