I'll be shooting again Saturday at a new field in Maccon co. My shoulder is still sore for the last 2 weekends, but I guess I'll power through! Should've bought a case of shells.

Was supposed to shoot Saturday at a field that was red hot opening day and has been rested since. Lots of birds using it last weekend as well. Got the call this morning that they don't have any birds so they called the shoot.

If anyone has a spot opened for someone to help keep them stirred up, pm me.

Just enough birds to get the dogs a little work.

Happening a lot right now. Opens this weekend in NW FL. Field I was going to hunt had roughly 600 birds last Wednesday. They bushhogged about 5 acres of corn last saturday and hit them with about 500 lb of wheat to make sure they stayed. Buddy sat it Wed morning and again yesterday afternoon and said there were only about 50 birds in it. They called the hunt off last night.

I'm going to try it this afternoon. I finished tilling a spot and put some more wheat out. Probably saw a 100 birds

I shot 3 times and killed 3 birds. We jumped up about 30-40 when wegot there at 3

Nothing. Almost shot a hawk for a ring neck

Wore them out yesterday in Bullock county.

Hunted the dove field(s) at the Swan Creek WMA on Saturday. Sweated our asses off but saw literally four dove all afternoon. There were four other guys out there dove hunting, plus a couple of rednecks who were blasting every trash bird that flew within 50 yards of them. I was surprised that the dove seemed to have moved on given the lack of any fronts pushing through lately.

Did the same today hopefully we will have some more birds in a couple weeks.
