A friend of mine had a an unfortunate accident where his lab dog was poisoned. A storm blew his neighbor's store house doors open and the shelving inside the store house collapsed with the wind and a box of snail poison fell to the ground and his dog found it, and ingested it.

The neighbor's dog found it as well, and both dogs died. Neither made it very far after ingestion.

Both my friend, his children, and his neighbor are heartbroken.

Friend is searching for another lab/puppies.

Color does not matter.

Takes a chicken shucks coward to poison someone's dog. Period. Jus sayin....not smiling
And not saying for a FRIEND, saying it for myself.

My girlfriends family just had a litter and have others that are ready for homes.
They're located just outside of Blountsville.

I should have a litter in about 50 more days or so. They will be CKC registered and should be mostly (if not all) yellow labs.

Danny the owner of the poisoned lab, says the dog doesn't have to be registered. He wants it for a family pet, not hunting.

Also, his neighbor is his father in law, and his father in law's dog was a lab as well. The two labs were together all the time.

Danny and his father in law want labs, so two from the same litter would stay together if they decided to go this route.
Neither is set on this.

Just wanted those to know the lab will have another lab to be with as a companion, and we are needing 2 labs.

Terrible assumption Robert D. Calm down. I wasn't talking about killing someone's dog. Just making light of the idea that pops into people's heads when dealing with problem predators. Bad joke or bad timing or both. My apologies to BOFF.

My apologies to you then. Our dog is like a member of our family and I had a dog poisoned (he survived) when I was very small. I get agitated at the thought of someone's pet being poisoned. We're good.
