I have always been terrible about wearing sunscreen since I tan so easily and rarely burn. My dad is the same way, however 8 years ago he had melanoma cut out of his back and we thought everything was good. About a year ago he had a cough for a couple of months that wouldn't go away, he was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma lung cancer. The cancer on his back had eaten thru to his lungs and they found 4 spots on his right lung. He is still undergoing immunotherapy at the Mayo Clinic. Thankfully 3 of the 4 spots are gone now and it is looking promising. His bill for the first round of immunotherapy was $28,500 after insurance. Ill be a pussy and wear sunscreen and hats from now on He's at a great place. Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla., did my Dad's cancer surgery. Saved his life.
