I'm all for helping people, but this is going WAY to far... It'd be wonderful is they'd shut their pie holes and helped the fellow Americans (VETS) instead of this BS all the time.. Not one Charity donation for VETS...

Starbucks is wanting to hire 10k refugees. They're such a caring company. Model company even...except for the 10k homeless people living in Seattle right now. You know, instead of trying to make a statement, they could be doing some good.

I despise these liberals more every day. My feelings toward them never gets better. Jackasses

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan

Funny you should say this. I was in Seattle WA last year for a week and was blown away at the homeless population living on the streets there. BLOWN away.. The people would just pass by like its nothing to see an old guy hungry..

I know it. D.C. is bad too. I'm fully aware there are a lot of them who brought it on themselves, but you're a piece of work if you have that many homeless in your city and are willing to offer people who aren't even citizens a job. Not to mention the population of homeless vets residing in the U.S. Screw them. I'm not a "boycotter." It takes a lot for me to get to that point because I'm cool with people having their own opinions/lives without me trying to hurt them for those opinions or living the life they choose. But crap like this really chaps my a@@ to the point where I won't patronize a business.

Places like Seattle and Portland have encouraged homeless people to migrate there, because of all the feel good programs they have available for them.

And my point is that if I took the time to investigate every single company I did business with I would be growing my own food and making my own stuff.

Sure... you have to take a stand sometimes, but let's get real, we live in a global marketplace now. Stop what you are doing and just look around you at your home. Look at your smart phone, your shoes, your shirt and pants... Are you sure all those things are made by a company that believes in Jesus and treats all it's employees with fairness and honesty and good pay and benefits?

I don't think so. It's just the reality of the World we live in.

I honestly believe that Trump understands that many refugees actually need help, and I think he is going to end up helping them by getting other countries in the middle east to pitch in. He just had to put a tourniquet on the bleeding for a minute to stop it so we can tend to the wound.

So just because a company allows customers to help refugees through donations, I'm not going to stop doing business with them. There are companies that make computers, smart phones and big screen TV's that are probably doing far worse to their own employees, maybe we should start there...
