Does anyone on here hunt mid or western Randolph county?
I got an invite to hunt some property in that area and was wondering how hot the rut is.

The rut in Randolph county starts Feb 11.

Go and enjoy yourself and good luck.

Oh I'm going.
Trail cam pics of some deer on the property are way too big to pass up the opportunity.

Our club is on the river in the western part of the county and we've killed bucks chasing and cruising for the past two weeks.

Laker, do you know if they are still chasing pretty good?
This land is close to RL Harris dam and borders the river, also.

Good luck. I hunted that little green spot in the SW corner of Randolph Co. one year. Good Deer there but I was disappointed in the timing of the rut. I guess it would be alright now with the February season.

I killed my buck on Monday right behind a doe, haven't heard any reports since then.

I grew up in that green SW corner. The map is correct.

Well, I'm here, sitting on an old logging road in a fine looking payoff hardwoods with my back to the railroad track facing, but can't see a cutover.
