New to the board. First post. Let's get to it. I have seen a few posts about Lillian Swamp but nothing definitive or any real information. I have been out to the swamp around ten times this year already and haven't seen a thing. My hunting buddy who hunts around two hundred yards north of me saw a buck but couldn't take a shot.

Is this normal for the swamp? or is it simply the early season? without giving away our spot it is at the bottom of creek and shows signs of heavy traffic.

I guess I'd just like to talk about the area. Anyone hunt there regularly as well and have any success yet?

My buddy and I seem to be fighting against the baiters. Everywhere we go scout we find corn on the ground.

You quit because you couldn't find the deer or the amount of people hunting over bait?

I bet you are going to say it's a combination of both.

Mainly the people. All the deer seemed to be in the far north side from what I remember. I've got plenty of better places to hunt than that property.

Yeah, I think I'm going to give it one more shot tonight.If nothing shows I'm recovering my stand and heading back to Perdido WMA.
