I thought Gus called a pretty solid game. It wasn't his fault the offensive line was getting beat every snap in the first half. He made some adjustments and they moved the ball some in the second half. Damn Rhett you need to be in the film room not posting on Aldeer

I disagree with all the "Gus lost it" talk. The fact that none of the QBs have stepped up to show they can do it is what lost it. In that sense it is Gus's fault in that he put all his eggs in the JJ basket for these two years and that hadn't worked, but he can only work with what he has. White is a gritty QB that gives you all he has, unfortunately, he doesn't have enough to win big in the SEC.
Go back and look at my previous posts on the subject and I said AU is a decent QB away from being good again. We improved everywhere else.
Other than the QB play I saw improvement all around except we'll have to wait and see if the OL is decent when we play a DL that isn't Clemson. They are stout on the DL.
Defense kept us in the game and offense just couldn't take advantage. Hats off to Clemson, they were certainly the better team. Watson is a long ways away from the Heisman. If anyone on their O deserves consideration for that it is Williams. He is as close to unstoppable at receiver as I've seen.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I don't know who's worse, Gus or Les. I'm betting that Les has a mutiny on his hands soon. Imagine being on that team and KNOWING that you'd be a national championship contender if you just had a DECENT QB. AU is in a similar situation. They have talent, not as much as LSU, but a decent QB would be a game changer. QB play in college is a direct reflection of the leadership skills of the head coach. Both schools are in trouble with the guys they have as head coaches...

I believe that I would be more worried about the o-line than the qb situation. This ^ Line sucks, QB play sucks and no running game. Long year ahead.
