Thought I would share this little nugget.So this coworker went down to his new hunting club over the weekend to scout and get a feel of the place,he was shown the property by another member.The guy showing him around checked his cameras.There were some nice bucks on the camera.Well new guy gets the pictures on his phone.So when new guy gets back to work he shows us the pics and tells the truth. Later that night he shows another coworker (that doesnt work around us) the same pics and says the pics are from the bucks behind his house.He was caught in the lie through mutual friends seeing the pics.I shake my head over the sillyness of the matter,its not the first time weve caught him lying.Hes a likeable guy but its hard to trust folks like this.

If I got pics of dandys I'll be lying about where they are also. But yeah, some folks just lie to hear themselves lie I guess.

guy I used to work with told us he killed a coyote behind his house in Tuscaloosa....when he showed us the pic, it was obviously taken in southwest TX/NM or somewhere the like...desert-looking terrain with scrub brush and cactus everywhere. We called him on it and he maintained that he killed it and the picture was taken in Central AL...



EDIT: The kicker of the whole thing is, the story would've been easily believable if he hadn't tried to pawn off the picture and swear he took it in his backyard

My gf's x husband lies so much he believes everything he says to be truth.

there was a member like that in a club i was in at one time...would lie when the truth sounded better. never could figure it out other than just a compulsive liar.

These people he lied to do not,will not and can not hunt where these pics were taken,to clarify the reasoning behind the lie.I could understand if they could.

When it comes to duck holes, any personal integrity is off the table.

I get on the ducks unlimited website and give phony scouting reports just to mislead lazy hunters that might so happen to be within earshot of my holes.

I don't always tell people where my big bucks are, but when I do, I'm lying.

I know 3-4 like that..Try to stay away from em.

#1 rule to turkey hunting is to never tell the whole truth about where you heard, killed, thought you might have heard or shot a turkey. Lie, cheat, whatever you have to do but locations and info are a secret.

All jokes aside I do have one hunting buddy who I share all info with about turkey hunting and he does the same. It's nice not having to worry about someone trying to kill one out from under you.

I have a co-worker that would rather climb a greased pole to tell you a lie than to stand on the ground with his two feet and tell you the truth.

agreed, but this went above and beyond.
while hunting together he comes back from retrieving his ducks from across a thin tree line and comes back with 2 big green heads exclaiming "i got 3!!" while clearly holding 2 (no he didn't mean he downed 3 & found 2).

another time he was hunting the south end and we the north. didn't hear a shot from his direction. got back to camp and he supposedly had to give his limit to the guy that pulled him out of the ditch....clean truck and no ruts where he was "stuck".

oh, and can't forget the time he went back down to the slough to get the limit he "forgot" to bring out with him and a bobcat had climbed the tree and taken his limit of green heads and pintail...stringer and all.
