Don't know about the 300 mag, But my 25-06 loves them. Accurate and most shots have been DRT.

I tried the 115 grain in my 25-06 for a very short period of time. I changed from them real quick. They were the worst performing bullets I've ever used.

A buddy hand loaded some for me in 7mm-08 couple years ago. I shot 4 or 5 deer with em. The ones that walked off left on shaky legs and didn't go far.

130Gr 270 was accurate out of a remmy 700 but i didn't care for the performance it had on the deer that i shot within 100 yards. It killed them but everyone i shot i had to track with no blood trail. Luckily they only went about 50 yards off the green field

My model 70 .270 WSM loves them. Every deer I've shot was DRT.

From my experience if you keep the muzzle velocity under 2850-2900 in 6mm cal and up the perform very well on deer size game. I have seen rifles that didn't like the Nosler loading but loved the Winchester loaded BT with the coating. I've had great success with them in 7-08 I reloaded some Nosler BT's real hot for my 30:06. It was a 125 grn BT @ about 3200+ fps. When the bullet hit bone it would practically blow up. Hit them in the boiler house there was no exit wound but they didn't go too far, maybe 50-75yds at best. Hit them in the shoulder and all you would get is back straps & hams. I didn't really like losing meat. I called Nosler and they suggested what 1shot said and that was dial them back below 2900 fps. I've do that now and very happy with the results.
