Boy, those little buggers are out in full swing. In 9 years here at my house, we have never found a tick on us or our animals. We found 5 in the last couple of days just while me and kids playing in the yard.

Yep they are bad right now, I won't go in the bushes without permethrin treated clothes. I pulled one off my wife's shoulder last week from just riding the 4 Wheeler, and she never got off of it.

Woke up Sunday morning with one embedded in my thigh. Must have come while mowing and weedeating. Nasty bastages. Only the second or third one I think I've found here at the house in 12 years.

I had one embed into my thigh about four months ago and I still have a welt there.

2 of the 5 were found in the house. One of them was crawling on my five-year-old son's face this morning, and the other was found in a bedding area for our indoor cat. Hopefully those were the only 2 that were brought in.

Worst I've seen and I'm always on high alert. I got the very worst fever of my life a few years back. No other symptoms but I had every blanket in the house on and could not get warm. I finally discovered a very small tick that had imbedded just where my toe nail meets my toe. He was tiny but engorged with my blood. He went to his maker and I slowly recovered over the next week.

Hate those bastages!!!

I've seen more ticks this year than I can remember. I've had a couple on me and kids and this is from my yard. I have sprayed my yard twice trying to get rid of them.
