I pick up my first suppressor today. It's a Dead Air Sandman-S.At the time of purchase, I did not have NFAids(similar to black rifle disease), so I bought mounts to use it on a couple of different platforms.

All of the guns I am planning on using it on(until my others come in, because I did develop a case of NFAids)are factory threaded. Should I have had them re-threaded? Now that the day has arrived I'm worried about concentricity and baffle strikes.

Well, I got the mounts set up on 2 different rifles. Everything worked out.

Right now I'm using it on an AR-10 and a Remington SPS Tactical .300blk. The .300BLK is ALOT of FUN suppressed.

cool maybe one day I'll be able to get one. I'd love to have em but afraid I'll go crazy spending if I ever get the first one.

I did. I bought this one on Oct.30 and have since purchased 3 more since then. My 5.56 and .22 cans should be approved in about 6 weeks. I got them in before the rush. I have another .30cal that I bought on Feb. 15 that just now was approved to be sent to my dealer. If I have it by Oct. I'll be surprised.

Oh, it is. Sub sonic is not much louder than a paintball gun. Now I'm going to have to build a .300blk sbr.

I've been researching sub-sonic .30cal hunting bullets. It can be done out to about 100yds. I'm going to test some loads on coyotes and coons smile. Should be fun!

Sub sonic works fine out to 150 yds on deer and hogs!! You can also order 223 sub sonic but none if mine will cycle an ar but out of my bolt action an air rifle is louder!

What bullet are you using for deer?

Talked to 2 guys this weekend while at a wedding. One had received his stamp...over 8 months after it was submitted. The other sent his 12/15/15 and he had called last week. It's still not to the pending state. Maybe i'll get mine as a Christmas present. smirk
