We have a TON of Hens on our place but so far I think the hens have kicked the GOBS out ..... as they are missing in action....

Plenty of turkey and coyote tracks. Not much gobbling.

More this year than last 2 years, or at least it seems that way.

Turkey population seems about the same in the 2 places I have hunted. Unfortunately, the turkey hunter has gone downhill a lot since last year.

Less in the places I've been, so far.

I'm definitely seeing more birds. I think we had an awesome hatch the last 2 years. We have a TON of jakes and 2 year old gobblers and more hens than I care to mention. 3 years ago, we quit bush hogging until June and we also started leaving a bunch of thick stuff around the edges of our fields and roads. I think it has had a huge impact.

The other thing we have done the last three years is break up about half of every field in early March. I've bought in to the whole "diversity of habitat" idea. With the cutting of the fields, they can scratch around for worms, grubs, etc. and walk to the other side of the field and be in knee high grass with grasshoppers and whatever else. I'ts good stuff

Ours is way down worst turkey season ever so far. We used to have a ton of turkeys all over and now you will be lucky to fine one or two tracks throughout about 500 acres. Dont know where they went but they ain't here anymore.

Way down, I'm not seeing tracks where I always see tracks and not hearing gobbling where I always hear gobbling. I have even branched out and started trying new spots. So far I have logged around 25 miles on foot and heard 5 gobbles(all on property I can't hunt) and I've seen 1 hen turkey. I walked 6.29 miles this morning and never heard a gobble.

Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

More than normal. Got a good group of 5 jakes that's gonna be fun to hunt in a couple years.

Got 25 2 year olds and 20 jakes and 6 or 8 older gobblers on game
cam pics. We have killed 2 gobblers so far. Gonna let the kids
kill 3 more.

One more good hatch should get it back to where it was 10 years ago.
