Has anyone tried a camo pattern with the cerakote, or is it even possible to do? If so could you recommend someone in southeast bama. How about any pictures of one with camo?

I have a Beretta Extrema 2 black syn that I would like to get done with cerakote or get dipped. Any pro's or con's?

Yeah it's possible but it's so time a labor intensive, you could probably get it dipped cheaper. Not to mention you can a get a much more detailed camo pattern by dipping.

My 6.8 would look downright nasty with that on it. I didn't think you could do patterns like that in cerakote, glad to know it's possible

What kind of oven you planning to use?

I built one about 2 years ago for a good friend of mine out of an old truck box and 2 old electric smokers. I lined the inside with fire rock sheet rock and installed the thermal coupling and both elements from the old smokers. 325° is about as hot as it gets but that's plenty for cerakote. I think I might have around $50 in this oven. Works great. I'll either build another one or use his that I built.

That's cool. I'm always interested to see how folks "skin that cat" when it comes to building ovens. I built mine too, not quite as inexpensively tho. I was needing to get it finish so I bought a lot of stuff new that I coulda saved money on used if I had time to look for it. Still got WAYYYYY less than a professional built model that holds half what mine will ( I used a 14 gun steel Stack-On gun cabinet.)
