Or are they just better at concealing their real beliefs?

They are politicians first, the R or D is just a team name.

I laugh when people get so worked up about Dem or Republican. Some of them do have great intentions and stick by their beliefs but I think most are just for sale. I swear they get behind closed doors and laugh about pulling he wool over the publics eyes. They make good money but not life changing money and somehow many of them live CEO lifestyles.

It certainly seems to be the case. Most likely they get in office and are told to play ball. If they don't they won't get all the goodies that come with the office.

It be's that way sometimes.

They are afraid of the media saying things about them. They think that the illegal vote will keep them from winning so they are sucking up to them but they dont realize it is about to make the republican party extinct. Once illegals are made legal and have voting rights they will only vote dem.
I wish there were more people like Sessions and Cruz winning. Third party would be great but then it would split votes and dems would win anyway.

George C. Wallace nailed it with his monetary difference of the two parties.

They aren't afraid of the minority vote. They WANT AMNESTY. It provides cheap labor for their corporate donors who make them mega rich. Congressman make less than $200k a year but almost all of them are multi millionaires by the end of their first term. How does that happen? By selling out average American's to the benefit of corporate America, whose stock rises with increased profits perpetuated by the actions of Congress. Guess how that puts money in politicians pockets. Stocks. Congress is able to manipulate the market and buy stocks in companies they favor with crooked legislation. You have the ruling class and the peasants and if you aren't already rich, it gets harder every day to get there. The American Dream got hijacked by politicians and corporations and we still have citizens that vote for more of it every day.

That is true too but they are still afraid of the media.

There is absolutely no difference today. There are a few exceptions, but very few.

I'll go one step further. The average liberal voter most of us despise is no more or less educated, intelligent, morally sound or capable of making smart decisions then the average conservative voter.

Note I said conservative and liberal, not democrat or republican. Both pull the lever for their respective side with little to no knowledge of what the candidate stands for, what they've actually done while in office or what they intend to do when re-elected. The candidates drop catch phrases that they know will catch the ear of the lazy and uneducated and they have a lifelong voter.

Both sides are convinced of their superiority and both sides think the other side is evil or stupid. The reality those voters are absolutely the same.

The only difference is what each side wants the government to regulate.

In the end, that doesn't matter either, because the NSA has dirt on every single one of them and the man in the Oval Office, if willing to use that information, will make them do exactly what he wants or ruin them.

Obama has used this tool to great advantage to himself and liberal causes. See Judge Roberts if you need an example.

Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

No, they are worse. The democrats are at least honest about hating this country and wanting to fundamentally change it.
