This warm weather has the turkeys all confused. Yesterday morning there was a turkey gobbling his head off at daylight. I couldn't help myself. I had to play with him a bit by yelping back at him and he was hot. This is the first time I have encountered a turkey gobbling like that in December. It felt more like turkey season than deer season. Anyone else hearing any?
There are 2 kinds of deer. The quick and the dead.

I hunted a spot on nat frst that it was very comon to hear one gobbling good during deer season. When turkey season came in that bastard was a mile off property though.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I have heard them the last two times probably about 100 yards behind me. Once turkey season arrives, they will be no where around.
